Who is the data controller

Nabatic SARL, publisher of the FITO and Croplix applications and of nabatic.com, is the controller for the processing described below. For any question about your data, write to contact@nabatic.com.

What we collect

We collect only what a diagnosis or a stock ledger actually needs in order to work.

  • Account: phone number or email address, name, interface language.
  • Farm: declared crops, municipality, indicative plot areas.
  • Diagnoses: photos submitted, exchanges with the agronomist, recommended treatment.
  • Croplix: items, stock movements, sales, customer records entered by the shop.
  • Technical: IP address, device type and error logs, kept for security purposes.

Why we process it

Account and farm data serve to perform the contract: without a declared crop and municipality, neither plot-level weather nor regional alerts can work.

Photos and exchanges serve to establish and document the diagnosis. They form the history you and the agronomist refer back to the following season.

Technical logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and detecting abuse.

Who can see your data

Your photos and exchanges are visible only to you and to the agronomist assigned to your ticket. No other FITO user has access to them.

A Croplix shop’s data stays partitioned to that shop and, where applicable, to the network it belongs to.

We sell no data, and we disclose it to a third party only where the law requires it.

Regional statistics

Diagnoses feed pest-pressure statistics by municipality, used for health alerts and for Croplix forecasting.

Those statistics are aggregated and anonymised: they say that late blight is spreading in a municipality, never in which plot or at which farm. A municipality with too few diagnoses is excluded from the calculation rather than published.

How long we keep it

Diagnosis history is kept for as long as the account is active, because its value lies precisely in its depth. After an account is deleted, personal data is erased within thirty days; anonymised statistics, which no longer identify you, are retained.

Technical logs are purged after twelve months.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its correction, its deletion, or a usable copy of it.

From Croplix, exporting the catalogue, customers, movements and sales is available on your own, at no cost and with no waiting.

Write to contact@nabatic.com: we answer within thirty days.
